Known by several common names, including Purple Pampas Grass, Andean Pampass Grass and Cortaderia Selloana. It has long, thin, razor-edged leaves forming a large bunch grass tussock from which the eye-catching inflorescences arise. Is also great as a dried flower. Prefers full sun. More suited in large gardens. Cut back any dying parts. Can reach 2.5 meters in height.
